FAQ'S

Do I need a referral to attend Physiotherapy?

You do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. However, if you have a referral from your medical professional or specialist please bring this to your appointment or email us on info@mojophysioco.com. â€‹

Do we take private health insurance?

Yes – we take all private health insurances. The coverage depends on your policy and insurance.

Do we take NDIS/Medicare/Workers compensation?

We do! We take (CDM plans) Medicare, Workers Compensation, NDIS (Self Managed), all Private Health Insurances and specialist referrals.

What do I need to bring?

If you have any scans or reports related to your injury we would love you to bring them along.

What should I wear?

Please wear clothes that maximise your comfort and accessibility. If you have an upper body injury we suggest wearing something that can be rolled or removed to show your neck/shoulders/upper back. If you have a lower body injury we suggest bringing shorts.

Do you take Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plans? We do! As we are a private clinic all appointments attract the full fee, however the EPC will provide a minimum rebate of $60.35. Please bring your medicare card on the day to ensure your rebate can be processed on-the-spot.

What is Chronic Disease Management (CDM)?

A CDM is a plan prescribed by a General Practitioner for the management of chronic conditions. It prescribed you 5 visits per calendar year, at a partially covered cost through Medicare. Medicare typically covers $54.60 for physiotherapy. As this does not cover the full rate of your service there is a small remaining fee to be paid by the patient.

Do you offer gym memberships?

Unfortunately not, you are however able to access the gym for a casual rate and this way you would not have to see one of Physio's/exercise physiologists.

Is there parking?

There is plenty of 2 hour free parking near the clinic on Darling and Wisbeach St. We also have access to underground parking if required, please call ahead to access this parking.

What is access to the clinic like?

We have 5 internal stairs upon entry. Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible, and have no lift access.

What are the costs?

An initial assessment is $145 and all follow-up consults are $125. This is often reduced with the use of your private health insurance.

Group classes are $70 for a 45 minute class.

What if I need to cancel?

All cancellations made within 12 hours attract a $50 fee. For more information please see our cancellation policy tab, under About.
